  • Drawing on our experiences at work and play all over China, we created a website about the much overlooked opportunities in the Chinese domestic travel market

    China Travelogues includes travel essays on hostels in Yunnan and Red Tourism in Zunyi, photography, video interviews and opportunities for brands

    It explores motivations and challenges for domestic travellers, including: reconciling the contrasting travel priorities of ‘bitter’ and ‘sweet’ generations; Chinese New Year, Golden Week and the ‘one-child couple’ dilemma; visiting master craftsmen ‘Futuring’ traditional design; and exploring diverse ethnic, religious and political identities
